Where is your Inner Child? Have a sense of humour!

I went to the train station today. There was a guy with one shoe off, emptying out a stone or something. I said to him "I guess we're going to hop1 on the train..."

He mumbled something like explaining what he was doing, even though it's so obvious. Didn't want to acknowledge my joke. What a boring fart!

So I hopped on the train for him.

When the train came, hop hop hop, I hopped on one foot onto the train.

Sometimes I feel sorry for people who have lost the ability to see the world through the eyes of a child.


1. "Hopping" means to jump using only one leg. "To hop on" some form of transport is a very casual way of saying "to catch" or "to take".
