First chinese class this year.

Tonight is the first class for my Chinese class this year. I have forgotten so much over the break, especially the writing. So I think I have several weeks of review ahead of me. Break out my flash cards, and use that time sitting on the train to practise, practise, practise.

Last year I wrote about how I hope the course is different. More practical,having more aural and oral exercises. We will have a meeting in class tonight where I hope the teachers will commit to making the changes. I really hope it's possible. I will go to class for the first few weeks to see if it's possible.

Class starts in 25 minutes, I better get moving :-)

Internet again!

Yay, I have internet at home again!

I know I'm a very spoilt westerner, but internet has become so much a part of my life it's been stressful to live without it.

So many things to do now! Happy!

Internet, coming to a home near me!

Yay! The DSL light is green on my modem at home. Hopefully when I get home tonight, the Internet will be available!

Also, I have an ATA. That will let us make nice cheap phone calls, using a regular phone.

So many toys to play with!

In other news, having Internet at home again means I can publish some more blog articles. I have 14 I've been working on, but I haven't had the time or Internet access to polish them up.

Also, some of my friends can't see my blog entries because their country restricts access. I can take these old articles and put them on my website.

So happy, so much to do!

No internet access at home

Because I've moved my phone number from the old house to the new house, and because I'm likewise moving my internet access across, I'm likely not to have internet access at home for another week. That means no evening chats. I miss my friends!
